I've never really had any experience in relationships, since I've always been rather shy, yet for whatever reason, people, including several who I don't even know, come to me looking for advice. I always tell them that I'm not a good person to ask, however they ignore me.
Whenever I'm trying to give advice, I'm always scared that I'll just end up making matters worse. But these people come to me, and... well I just can't *not* try.
So can anyone here maybe help me figure out why they come to me, or possibly tell me a way to avoid these situations altogether?Okay, so for whatever reason, people come to me asking relationship advice.?
Okay I should know cause my friend is almost exactly like you...
but yeh I think of it as you're still ';pure'; when it comes to relationships... You dont understand the complexity of what the person is feeling and can therefore clearly see what is happening in the situation... and can give the best non-emotional advice.
When if i had gone to someone who has been in a relationship, they immediately sympathise, experience the same feeling and then you have two confused people who dont know what to do... So you then get emotional advice that would make the situation worse...
Unfort i dont know how to avoid it but yeh thats the reason i ask my friends who havent been in a relationship for advice.
