my boyfriend and i have been going out for a year and four months. lately weve been driving each other crazy.


im a very affectionate person, i thrive on affection, w.o it i am just not happy. my boyfriend says in order for us to get back where we were i will have to deal without affection for a while.


idk if making myself suffer and question and doubt is worth continuing our relationship. should we break up or should i just deal with him treating me as less than a friend until he gets happy? ugh. :(In desperate need of relationship advice.?
you need a break, he wants some distance. Give him some time, if nothing happens, then you can break up.

Don't torture yourself for a guy that won't show you a little affection. But I think you should ease up a little. Don't be too clingy to him that is why are driving each other crazy. If you doubt the relationship than it's not worth the time and energy for you. Don't beat yourself in the butt. You should go hang out with friends and maybe the right guy will come along and who knows.
i think u and ur bf are too close..and he needs space to breathe..that's why he's saying that u guys have to deal without affection. He thinks that u are overdoing it and making him uncomfortable..So yea that's basically the problem.

In my opinion, if you want affection and he can't give it, why are you waiting around? He shouldn't bribe/blackmail you with that! Does it mean that next time you guys have an issue he is going to hold that over your head too? I wouldn't wait around...
