I need a better family relationship, advice please?

well, here's how it is. I wake up, shower, i say good morning to my dad, thats pretty much it. i go upstairs, sleep for 15 more minutes, he leaves and i say Bye Dad, thats it. He gets home late everyday, i usually just say hey dad and get back to what i'm doing.


basically like that EVERY day. My whole family life is extremely dull, we hardly talk to eachother in-depth, and he never says he loves me. He's not disapointed in me or anything, i'm sure he does love me, but it's just so boring. Any advice on how to make my family life more interesting? He is a good dad and all jus he's not always there for me.I need a better family relationship, advice please?
ok...it sounds like u and your dad are not very interested in each other. Thats ok...but if u want to try to build a better relationship try to talk to him about school, ask if he could maybe catch a movie with u, watch you play your fav sport, and etc. just try as had as u can if that does not work then confront him about your relationshipI need a better family relationship, advice please?
it just sounds like you dont have alot of time together. try to make a day where you guys all do something together. invite a family friend over for supper/go to a restaurant, a hockey game etc...just something where you'll all feel at ease with each other...conversations and bonding at this point will happen naturally
My dad and I had dad-daughter days when I was younger. We'd go to the museum or the zoo or even the drug store to pick out candy. Invite your dad to do something with you. Maybe just watch a tv show or something. Try talking to him too. Just explain you want to have a closer relationship with him.
